Stacey’s growing portfolio features key contributions to over 200 productions.

Stacey has driven campaigns for national brands, hospital systems, fortune 500’s, and non-profits as director and writer. Supporting experience over the last decade includes running sets as 1st AD on spots for clients 20th Century Studios, Disney, HBO Max, Universal+, NBC, Walmart, Target, Verizon, and Hyundai.

Her latest directing endeavors include the ‘Women in Motion’ 2024 campaign which creatively brought together five brands into one retro-inspired commercial, a comedic spot for Third Degree Glass, broadcast spots for Pretty Litter, and the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital broadcast commercials and stills shoots (directing child talent) for Ascension.

Stacey is intuitively conscientious of budget and schedule, and her sets are characterized by their warmth and ambition. She excels at drawing out great performances from actors, with a special talent and love for working with children.

The Wagon - her directorial debut in 2018 - screened country-wide garnering 7 awards, including “Best Woman Filmmaker" from the LA International Film Festival Awards, and secured a Mid-America Emmy nomination. Told entirely without dialogue, the film uses the language of visuals set against the backdrop of a small Midwestern town, showcasing Stacey's strength in expressing themes of family drama, loss, and the enduring human spirit.

Stacey Nation is logging days toward her eventual entry into the DGA.
